BGM: U2 - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

I've got two days off today and tomorrow, so decided to go back to my parents' house to stay (Yes, a late homecoming.) This morning, I went to the library to borrow a book as usual. After that, at AEON I started thinking this - Why do I learn English? Even though I am already not so young... I remember the meeting I had enjoyed Last Sunday.

A member had said to us that we can already use great portable translators now, which afford us really good translations to communicate easily/fluently enough. I agree with him. I won't say that we shouldn't use such marvelous equipment/tools in our daily life. But I don't want to stop learning - I guess there are some reasons why, but I need to think about this step by step.

At about 11am, I went to my parents' house and had lunch. After that, I took a nap, and spent my time with a relaxed mood in my own old room. At afternoon, I started writing the draft for the online meeting I will enjoy as a presenter. Looking back at the days I had spent, I've found that my autistic head has already forgotten various things really easily - Of course, the friend's memories are still in there, but I have already forgotten about Yukio Mishima (at the beginning of this month, I actually had decided to read his works!)

After having dinner, I went out to enjoy today's English class. At there, we learned a new topic, Valentine's day. The teachers taught us how the people in America celebrate that day (they said there is a new day, Galentine's Day,) and we the members talked about how Japanese people spend that day. In Japan, this day is mainly for lovers/couples... but we might be able to enjoy this as the event for everyone widely (but then, how the single person like me can enjoy this? By giving sweets to anime girls?)

Returning to my home, I asked about that Galentine's Day to other learners on Discord, and found that it must be a really fresh word. After that, we talked about how to use (or I shouldn't use) swear words. Oh, my journey of learning new English words seems like a true "never-ending" stuff...
