It was a day off. This morning, I started reading Karen Cheung's "The Impossible City" a little. Once, when I had been interested in Hong Kong, I tried to keep up with what is happening in there (so I read various books and watched Netflix documentaries about Hong Kong, too.) But now, by reading this book once again, I can see that this is actually telling me about the Hong Kong from this author Karen's memory. How can I describe that Hong Kong... Bittersweet?

Indeed, now I just have read about the first 100 pages but it certainly has really great touch as a sweet autobiography. I also start remembering my childhood with following this author's honest style (could I write my own "The Impossible City"!?) At that beginning part of it, I accepted that we must need "the third place" in our living places/communities. Probably they are cafés and libraries... to discuss various things.

And, I try to imagine how the life with various drastic changes could be... the reason why I imagine this is because my life seems to keep on having the same habits/routines always. Indeed, from the long distant view, I can see that there must have had some drastic (almost revolutionary changes) as Fukushima, global pandemic, and so on. But, maybe because I had spent my time with a lot of alcohol without gathering those changes, I can't remember anything exactly... Oh my gosh!

This evening, I saw a friend of mine again. She had been involved with a trouble so I tried to help her. It was about WhatsApp, because in this country that app is not as popular as any other countries. I tried a lot, and at last it started working. I felt eased about this (yes, I have to accept that I am too old to understand any latest devices' mechanism!)

After having dinner, I went to have the "danshu" meeting. There, I talked about various things to reflect on. The Easter party at the last Sunday, the English class yesterday I had enjoyed, etc. After that, returning to my group home, I started reading "The Impossible City" again by the time I had to go to bed. I have to check out various Asian music (yes, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, etc.) So now I start listening to Prune Deer's music (I heard they are from Hong Kong... Amazing!).
