BGM: Oasis - Go Let It Out

Today I've read an interesting article on the net. It tells me an important concept/keyword, "non-cognitive skills." It is a difficult one to tell you the meaning, but it can mean that there are two types of smartness. The one is the clear ability as results of tests/exams, and the other is the invisible ability as the basic potentiality within ourselves. "Non-cognitive skills" are the latter.

From another point I want to think about this - that article tells me how I can become a fluent English speaker. It tells me various examples as sharing each person's daily lives in English on social media (on Twitter, YouTube, etc.) Through that process, we can train the strength of our minds eventually besides the actual English skills. It is impressive for me because I have been training my English by writing my English memo on a memo pad
everyday, too. And also, I have been writing/sharing my daily life as this journal. That trial also adds/affords my English skill.

By that training I have been doing everyday, I guess I could have gained/got a certain inner power within me. I have also been using English in my daily life on Discord, MeWe, and other various social media and my blog. I communicate with other people in English though my English is not fluent, and that trial surely has given me a certain self-esteem.

Self-esteem or pride... Yes, this is the main essence for me to master English more effectively I guess. In a way, the power of pride rules the trial of learning English. Me, once I had been a really terrible coward who even couldn't speak "hello" to others in English, but now I can enjoy chatting in English on the net.

After today's work (yes, today I worked early) I went to the offline meeting to enjoy chatting in English. We talked about the next English class in English, and also I talked about Haruki Murakami as a favorite author of mine. After that, we enjoyed writing Japanese calligraphy. I tried to get out of my comfort zone to draw a good one. It was a wonderful time.
