Life goes on brah!

BGM: Ryuichi Sakamoto "tong poo"

My boss gave me two days off today and tomorrow, so I decided to go back to my parents' and brother's house. This morning I thought about various ideas as one of the morning activities at Aeon. Although I brought books to read, I couldn't read them so just spent the time doing nothing. My smartphone had gone wrong so I tried to go to a shop to repair it, but they said that I had to get a reservation. But I tried to use it and finally repaired it, so I felt fine. At the library, I borrowed Natsuki Ikezawa's book "Welcome To The New Century". Probably it gets autumnal so I feel I can enjoy Eric Clapton's "Unplugged", various folk songs by Bob Dylan, and also Ryuichi Sakamoto's piano playing.

After arriving at my house, I took a nap and had sushi lunch, and read "Welcome To The New Century". This is a collection of his mail magazine which started just after 9/11. I have respect for his 'footwork' is very active. He tried to look at the situation and declare his opinions bravely. This can be enabled because Ikezawa is precisely a great reader, and also an activist who has walked various places and countries. He is a brave ideologue. His point of view is standing on the Anti-American and Anti-Globalism, but he doesn't blame politicians like Bush simply but is trying to stand by damaged people with the terrorism and also the war. People have passed away by bombing or mines. I can feel that he has a great human mind that lets him imagine the landscape.

As you know, from the 9/11 incident the world had to experience the Iraq War. And also the Anti-Globalism movements had started from that point. I want to support the training of diversity because I just can't feel any sympathy for the single-standard world. but I won't declare my opinions rapidly. My mind is just simply weak, and I can see that I have more things I have to study and think about. I also want to think about the war between Russia and Ukraine. So I sometimes need to learn various things again from these kinds of old books and reflect on myself.

On the net, a piece of news about Jean-Luc Godard's passing away is still hot. I read the articles I wrote about Godard again and thought that my point of view has been still the same. Therefore I have to learn his movies again. Not talking about the images or bias of Godard, but touching his movies directly and making myself renew. That is the activity I need to do. Also, I have not watched the documentary series about 9/11 on Netflix fully. So it can be a nice idea that to stay still and enjoy movies, dramas, and documentaries. I shouldn't hurry. Just I want to enjoy step by step as a pleasure.
