This morning, after joining the daily English meeting on Zoom, I went to the library to borrow some guidebooks about Heidegger. After that, I went to AEON for a thinking time as a morning activity. Then, on the app clubhouse, an interesting discussion about anime (especially, a Japanese manga "Dandadan" and also a certain political issue about "blackwashing") had been started. TBH, I have never heard of "Dandadan" and don't have any interest in anime. However, the members were having a very provoking discussion and were in a loose mood, so I joined in for a while.

On Twitter, I tend to find a sort of "exclusive" opinion such as "Don't bring any politics into anime (or music, movies, or anything else)". Me, I can't agree with this opinion because I like to (or, unconsciously tend to) try to bring that serious thing to find out any interesting (or, even funny) essences in such wonderful masterpieces of anime (in other words, even now I am a sort of "critic" or "journalist" wannabe). However (even though all I can write is just a general/fuzzy opinion, not any precise/critical opinion within "Dandadan"), I believe that becoming too serious about enjoying anything can work to prevent us from having a truly tolerant, diverse mind.

You may say the opinion I've written must sound so "childish". I accept that because, at least in this country, from having such an Asian essence of mine, I rarely have to struggle with discrimination (even though I'm autistic, therefore from that fact I have suffered from a tiny, silly sort of discrimination). So, I need to let my imagination work to think about severe discrimination to understand another race/ethnicity.

This afternoon, I went to the main house of my group home to see the sub-admin. I got the money for the coming week, and also we discussed how we would make my "My Number Card (a Japanese ID card)". This evening, I tried to use a platform "Episoden", which an Indonesian friend had once recommended that I should use. It seemed interesting to me to keep on learning English (not so-called "native" English such as in the US and the UK, but a very diverse sort of English as mine), so I decided to keep exploring this more.
