BGM: This Mortal Coil - Kangaroo
Listening to This Mortal Coil's music, this morning I read Takashi Hiraide's book about Berlin (平出隆『ベルリンの瞬間』.) The author wrote how he had experienced his daily life in Berlin like a journal. It was the period the Berlin had been shaken by various big, historical events. Yes, it is a nice documentary.
And suddenly, I have got this idea. How about my life? My life seems a kind of mixture of various historical events and the currents events. In other words, I have been living in a town which had been build by many ancients, and also I have lived with many people. I remember this year's events - This year, I have learned many historical facts by my friends' presentations. This year can be a year of learning for me, too.
I want to follow this Takashi Hiraide's attitude/stance of living. It must be really modest, quiet, and calm one. He always has kept his quietness therefore he never say something extreme loud, instead he reads various books as Walter Benjamin and Franz Kafka. I also love Benjamin and Kafka, so I have got an interest in Benjamin's transparent proses again.
On various social media (especially on X,) I can find that there are a lot of people who have lost their calm, fair state of minds. They must have been dazed by something, but I can't see what the something can be? They are trying to justify themselves sincerely? They are trying to believe something ultimate honestly? I want to support the freedom of speech and also having any idea in our minds (yes, ANY ideas). But also, I want to try to be honest to the action of confessing my ideas to the outer world (because that action of confessing anything often can be too violent.)
This year - we (with the friends on Tsunagu meeting) have talked a lot about this city. Now I start thinking that I will try to disconnect myself from the X, and also try to introduce my life and this city in English (maybe on Instagram.) One of my dreams - I remembered this. It is that I want to introduce this city as a person who can have played as a virtual bridge between the world and this city.
