I had a day off today. This morning, I went to AEON as usual. There, I wrote several pieces of my thoughts onto my memo pad in English for a while. After that, I went to the bookstore in that AEON to change my mood, and at there I found a new one of Japanese popular weekly magazine "AERA", which features autism as its special content. Therefore, I decided to buy it. After that, I enjoyed reading that article by noon with an interest.
TBH, at first I couldn't have any positive impression in reading this one because I had expected that it must be a collection of so-called "typical" success stories or even "tales" which tend to declare we autistic people must be geniuses because now the era is becoming marvelous neurodiversity etc. However, the article pointed out straightly the outer world around autistic people (for example, the companies and society themselves) must change their attitude toward autistic people. That looks interesting for me.
Needless to say, autistic people themselves should keep trying to change their attitude (in a way, they should keep "updating" their points of view, including me). Oh, what a tough era. In my case, now I have been trying to work as an autistic person in public with having an association with two job coaches, and also started affirming the fact of being autistic eventually/firmly. I'm really happy about this.
This afternoon, I went to the main house of my group home to accept my money for the coming week. After that, I had a lunchbox and took a nap. After that, I went to the library to write my short novel "VISITORS" for an independent e-magazine which had been quit for a while. After writing it for a while, at there I borrowed Jose Ando's novel (who has gotten Akutagawa award newly).
This evening, I enjoyed reading Ryu Murakami's splendid debut novel "Almost Transparent Blue [限りなく透明に近いブルー]". Even though it is full of very dirty visions from drug and psychedelic rock such as The Doors, I have certainly felt their pure personalities which are actually trying to find anything real/actual, even though they hurt their pure souls.
After that, on a LINE group, I enjoyed a discussion about autism (with quoting the article of that "AERA") for a while.
