I worked late today. This morning, I found it was snowing outside. At about 9 a.m., when I went out of my room, the road had been covered slightly with it. Therefore, I decided to go to my workplace on foot (even though it was possible to turn into a sunny afternoon, I was afraid that the road would get frozen like "Eisbahn" this evening). Before going to AEON, as usual, I first went to the library to borrow Yoko Tawada's books.
After that, I arrived at AEON. There, someone talked to me when I started trying to write the short story I had been writing. She is also a member of the English Studying Club I belong to, and she shared with me about her activity at a private school. After that, even though I hadn't been feeling well (probably because I could have been tired of walking), when I started "rewriting" my draft of the ongoing novel "VISITORS" to improve then my mood started getting uplifted. Definitely, this sort of writing something has a meaning of "curing" or "healing" my soul.
After that writing, I took a pic of my draft and shared it with some friends through WhatsApp. An American friend, an Indonesian friend, a Russian friend, and also some Japanese friends. Then, even though I said my penmanship must have been too rough to find what had written (so, of course, I added "no need to read it"), they gave me their intimate, heartful comments about it. Oh, how can I respond to those splendid, miraculous friendships?
I started my work this afternoon. At 5 p.m., I had an hour break time. During that break, I read my ex-job coach's LINE message again. She had said to me "Life must be shorter than you expect, and you can 'challenge' (or 'try') whatever you want". This comment must have a numerous, great valuable meaning for me. Now, I have been writing the "VISITORS" in English. I have to translate it into Japanese by myself. However, the chief editor said this English version is also so valuable for us that we can publish both versions as content of that e-magazine. I am thankful for her judgment/decision. However, at first, I have to "complete" that draft.
After today's work, I went back to my group home on foot again (today, I have walked for about 12,500 steps!).
