I worked late today. Last night, I couldn't sleep well (I had only done it for about 4 hours), so my head didn't work. This morning, I joined the daily Zoom meeting in English as usual (the topic was news that says the price of coffee beans has been increasing, and also how we enjoy drinking coffee in our daily lives naturally). Even though I couldn't express my opinions actively because of that insomnia, I greatly enjoyed the "loose", and "impressive" English conversation.
Today, I started wearing the new shoes yesterday I had bought. TBH, my current job always requires that I have to walk about 8,000 steps or more in a day, therefore I was very nervous about choosing new shoes (if I chose them wrongly, it would cause terrible pain to my foot). But, the new ones I chose with the admin of my group home have been a good pair for me it seems, so I could have enjoyed walking so lightly (without any heaviness).
With various "New Age Music" on Spotify, I tried to enjoy reading a book this morning as usual. However, that sleepy head (but also, very "awakened" by pressure) didn't accept complicated logic within any book. However, if I stopped reading, then my head would afford me various "sicken", and "ill" ideas such as traumatic events I had to experience. So, I just tried to make my mind loose and even tried to think about the coming Saturday, the day I would enjoy the virtual "Year-End" party on an Internet group.
Today is a day after two days off, so I needed to catch a certain clue to go back to my workplace and do my work again. At break time, I read a piece of net news about a Japanese comedian's episode about his mission. What can be my own mission? Once, when I was a heavy drinker in my 30s, I completely gave up having any mission (ambitions, dreams, etc.) and just tried so seriously to believe that "Death must be the salvage from this sickened life". But now, through writing this English journal and also learning English in my private time, I have started to think about how I wanted to show this skill of English to help others certainly. For example, a volunteer guide who introduces this town, etc...
