I had a day off. This morning, after the English Zoom meeting, I was thinking that I wanted to go to the book café to see the owner again. However, the admin of my group home sent me a LINE message that said we could go to AEON to buy clothes for this winter. TBH, basically because of this autistic character, I tend to get confused with this sort of sudden change in my life schedule. However, if I lose this chance, I must wait for the next opportunity (definitely, it must be the beginning days of 2025). That's not good, so I changed my mind and accepted this offer.
The admin and I went to AEON and started buying our clothes (two pajamas, two underwear, shirts, a jacket, shoes, and so on). TBH, as this journal says, I rarely buy my clothes casually in my daily life, therefore it was a sort of "tough" time to spend. However, the admin helped me to buy them a lot (he even carried them to my room). After that, I had lunch and took a nap.
This afternoon, I went to the book café. There, I saw the owner. We talked a little about this year's memories. After that, I found three interesting used books that were being sold on bookshelves (each book cost only 100 yen), so I bought them. I enjoyed having a good cup of iced coffee and sweets, and relaxed while writing my English memo on its table.
One of those books is about a journal (or a memoir) of a Korean taxi driver, Yang Sogil, who became a famous novelist in Japan after his career [梁石日『タクシードライバー日誌』]. His style of that journal is very "dry" and also "cool", but within that coolness, I could feel his throbbing warm heart (or blood's warmth) certainly. So, I could have enjoyed it a lot.
This evening, I joined the "Year End" party with some private friends at a restaurant. With very delicious curry dinners, we enjoyed chatting a lot about this year's memories, how each member has kept learning English, who can be the best three authors in the world (referring to the opinion on Wikipedia), and also what must be the clue for each member to do their job. Yes, it was a wonderful, splendid time. Thank you so much!
