I worked late today. This morning, I read the rest of Roald Dahl's "Matilda", and found that this one was marvelous and fascinating (I won't hesitate to say that this is charming for me). Reading this, I have a strong sympathy with the main character, the very smart heroine Matilda... Even though I am not so smart, and also not so young either. I am just an old dude who can be so stubborn that smart kids like Matilda would dislike me.
On the app LINE, someone asked us what app we should use to learn English. Of course, there must be several ways... the same, various ways as the number of people who try to learn. I usually post my English journals on Discord, and on there I also join the conversation (mainly chitchat in English, from politics to weather news) with other members from all over the world. Also, I visit MeWe, a sort of social media, and enjoy chatting. I won't say this must be the best solution for anyone else, the ultimate correct answer. You need to find out the best one for yourself.
Writing this... I believe that I could have founded a mission of mine in this life, which must be for me to keep learning English to become a sort of "bridge" person who can connect this city and the world. From this viewpoint, I look back on the past days when I had lost all of my dreams completely. Yes, the days "before" I met my job coach, who had recommended that I should learn English again. And... It's so daring to say that I might be able to give any advice to the young people who still can't find their dreams, what they're looking for.
Of course, I can never understand what the current young generation tends to think in their minds (I can never imagine their points of view which must have been built in the era in which the internet already existed as a default tool). So, I shouldn't be too rude to them and just be careful not to disturb their own lives. But, in these journals, I want to keep writing about how I could have found my mission, even though it would end in the conclusion finally as "In the end, I was just a lucky guy who could grab the final miracle, the enigmatic jackpot miracle from anything, and that's all".
